I am installing my console extension harness in my 68. The NSS switch connectors are a no brainer as is the console lighting connector. But the back up light connector has a dark green and light green wire on the extension harness. The dash harness has a connector that fits the extension harness connector, but the wires are light green and PINK? When connected the light green goes to light green and pink goes to dark green. I have another non gauge dash harness and the connector has pink and light green also. I do not see any other connector that will fit. I am baffled. Is this correct? Am I missing something? Please help if you can.

That's correct. The pink is power the green goes to the lights, they connect to the lt and dk green wires of the console ext harness.
