A guy I know claims to have a true LS6 chevelle. The dash is a sweeping type speedo not the round type. Is this the right dash for the LS6?

Nope, no SS cars had the sweep style dash.

I am Darn sure ALL 70 SS cars had SS dashes with THREE round pods.
If your 70 SS has GAUGES someone ordered them, I speak of LS-5s Not sure of LS-6s. They were not standard. You could also get the gauge PKG. in NON SS cars.
The 70-- LS-5 M-22 Car I ordered (still have it) has NO gauges.
