Pro Street Garry Nov 5th, 07, 9:06 AM Wow thanks for all the replies and nice words! http://www.scaldinghot.com/Boardpics/wow.gif
Now for it taking so long to do was mostly because of the paint.
The first guy gave me the runaround for 4 years with that old saying “Your next”
I started making surprise visits to his shop to find him working on other stuff like PEDAL CARS!!!http://www.scaldinghot.com/Boardpics/eyes.gif So I gave up on him and had someone else do the job. Got the car back from him after 3 years. Another thing was knowing when to walk away from working on it. There where times the car would just sit under cover for months because it was not fun working on anymore! In 2006 I really got back into it and got it done this past July.
The paint is a custom color by House of Kolors, Candy Eggplant Purple.
With the clear there are 13 coats of paint on it.
The valve covers and air cleaner are something that I did on a CNC machine.
I was looking to have something that was one of a kind. Thanks for all the complements on how they came out.
This car is one sweet ride..pictures do not do it justice.
Beautiful job Garry
