What gear should this set up run in the 12 bolt?

Also, what timing should this car be set at for optimal performance? I may be forgetting some items on or inside the engine. What are your guys' best bet on horsepower? Thanks for the help. graemlins/beers.gif

Check carb# to find out cfm. Would run 355 or 373's. Timing at 36. HP-400-450. What car are you going to run this bad boy in?! Good street combo and of course an occasional flog down the 1/4! :D

Thanks for the reply.
The Edelbrock Carb - can't even find a part number
The engine is in my recently acquired 72' Chevelle...and I mispoke, I looked under the rear and it has a 10-bolt...what is the disadvantage of this? Should I upgrade to a 12 bolt and install the gears or beef this up with an Eaton posi unit and upgraded Axles? Coming from an all Ford background, I am at a huge loss with this car! I appreciate the education.
