Hello all, I recently purchased what was assumed to be a davinci 950 cfm carb. I received it and it appears to have a main body similar to my 750 demon and a base with larger throttle bodies (butterflies ...maye 850). So I ask how is it they make a 950cfm, 750 top with 850 bottom? I cannot find the list number stamped on the body on either holley's or mortec's # gr5534b. Link to auction for picture: My purchase (http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=7952818563&rd=1&sspagename=STRK%3AMEWN%3AIT)

Thanks for any help
Dane

a holley 950hp doesnt flow 950, it flows 830cfm. and its set up exactly as you describe, a 750 body and a 850 baseplate.

ive read that the 950cfm rating is dry flow and the wet flow rating is 830. i dont know why, but you can confirm all of this by doing a search in this forum for 950hp.

Look on the metering blocks, it might have the list # on them
