The 284 is 162 at .200, the 292 is 170 at .200.
To put them in perspective, the 292 is 2* shorter at .020, 1* bigger at .050, and 4* bigger at .200, with about the same lobe lift, as a 1990 Crane F-258/3733 Chrysler-profile cam, as well as being 10 years older. The 284 is master F8, the 292 is master F4, both made in April 1980.
No UltraDyne was symmetrical. The 284/292 was always sold as a torque cam, although that is more a function of its' size than anything else. The 321/329 with 288/296 at .050, 196/203 at .200, and .685"/.685" valve lift was in the exact same cam design family.
The 284/292 had the dynamics for over 8000, but not the area-under-the-curve to support much horsepower up there.
