Daytona Yellow 69 Z/28

I am thinking about putting my 68 up for sale and was wondering what it is worth? The car is just a Malibu with a 350 / T350 . The car has new interior , fresh paint, and runs & drives great. I really like the car, but I just have my eye on a new project. Can anyone give me an idea of the cars value?
Thanks in advance,
Nick

With a small block , bench seat, and assuming a 12 bolt rear and you didn't just bondo the heck out of it before painting I would say you could get 12k - 15k. Put a big block in it, buckets, and get a black SS stripe down the sides and you'll get 20k. Of course the price depends on how nice it looks in person, the quality of the paint and overall condition of the car etc. Oh - and get that car seat out of it so it looks faster.

Like Tony said..........
If I was in the market for another '68 I'd expect to pay around that too. Especially for a NM car. (I'm assuming very little or no rust was on that car before the paint job) And is that the original color - Matador Red?
A New England car would be $9-12 for the same thing you have - with some bondo sculpture of course.
But it depends on what your economy is about to do. Things are changing fast way up here in a bad way, and buying toys like this will drop off and affect prices locally. Might not matter where you are though.

looks like a pretty nice car. i watch these a lot and i'd guess around $10-13k, but this is a hard time of year to get a good price. why do people want to take the side trim off but leave the 'hockey sticks' up front? IMO, if you want to take off the side trim, get the '69 grille corners or cut the '68 molding off at the corner. otherwise the car looks like it's just missing trim.

Thanks for the replys. I know it's the wrong time of year to try and sell but I have my heart set on another car right now. The wife says something has to go before I can drag another car home.
Thanks again,
Nick
