Here are some numbers from the tag under the hood up by the windshield driver's side.
I think they call this the cowl tag?

70 - 13637 = 1970 malibu sport coupe
755 = Black fabric bench seat
B80 = roof drip moulding
B90 = door window frame moulding
55 H = Champagne Gold and I believe the H is a B which is vinyl top (black?)
02D = fourth week af February build date
the rest are just numbers that do not denote any options

Technically the tag is the Fisher Body Number Plate, a.k.a. trim tag, cowl tag, firewall tag.
As TonyZ noted, the rest of the numbers (body number, groups of numbers after the date code) are Fisher Body & GM tracking numbers for assembly and don't denote any options. Atlanta was the only 1970 plant that put the B80 & B90 RPO codes on the trim tag for some reason.

If your car has the original front inside door panels on it, there should be a build sheet glued to the back side of one of them.
