I think i'll weld my hood closed and put a belly pan on the car just to keep the "pocket parts" fools away.;)

I love it when these guys sell NOS stuff & don't include the package. Obvously they are not what was in the package & they replace it with another $1.00 part & sell it to these fools on ebay. Why else would anyone keep the package?

If I bid over $100 for a wing nut I'd want my ID kept private too!

It takes a wing nut to bid good money on something like this ...

Nearly double that $63 bid now. Are people retarded? Some are

When you have your car at a show & someone askes what kind of parts you restored it with...would you really say something like "numbers block, nos fender, ss hood, etc, oh and a nos wing nut!" :noway:

could anyone even tell an orig from new??

I see lots of parts that guys buy from www.gmpartsdirect.com that they set next to a box and call them"NOS" parts. In reality, they can be bought for a whole lot less on that web site. I rarely even look for NOS parts on ebay anymore.

Must be a bunch of wingnut "Nuts" bidding on this! Each to his own, though. I've bought quite a few collectible items over the years that I was almost ashamed to tell anyone what I paid for them.

Must be for another trailer queen car that's going to be 100% numbers matching NOS this and that....this is the only reason I could even see someone paying thru the nose for an otherwise $6 part.

Wow!! I have a little bin with about $700-$800 worth of those at these prices. Wait, I don't have the little GM bag. Does that mean I can't sell them to some 'Vette restorer with more money than sense? Maybe I can get $300-$400 for 'em :D
