Sunday afternoon I got my Biscayne running with the new engine. It has a few bugs to work out. Need to clearance the exhaust and a header in a few spots. All and all it runs great. I gas it once and keeped it below 6000rpm's.From a 1st gear roll it broke the tires loose. Shifting slow they stayed loose 1st - 3rd when I let off. After I get some more miles on the car more bugs out I will go to chassie dyno.

Sounds like a cool car. Keep us posted when you dyno it. I just picked up a 66 biscayne Ertl "american muscle" collectible. Nice quaility for $20.00, red with a 427 and 4 speed, dished hub caps, wish it was full size and in my driveway. :D

Did you decide to NOT do the engine dyno and hold out for the chassis dyno? If you did do the engine dyno, what were the numbers?
I'm real curious how your combo worked out as mine is real similar except I have a Bullet roller with slightly less .050 duration but more lift and I'm using a ported and epoxied Strip Dominator manifold with a HP950.
If you remember, mine is going in a '65 Biscayne also. I plan to do the assembly over Christmas and then try to get the engine bay ready over New Year's holiday. I'm also trying to get my S/G car ready at the same time 'cause test n tune starts the third week of Jan. and our first Division race is Feb 27 & 28. So time is tight for me.
Good luck breaking in your new combo. Maybe we can do a Biscayne invasion at the new Cherokee County Raceway in Rusk, TX when they open!

Mine is a mech. roller also. Bullet grind 276/284 adv, @.020, 246/250@.050, .668 lift int. & ex.
