Anyone here able to give me directions to MIR from north/western Maryland...Westminster to be specific. I assume I'd be going to 695 to go south?

One fellow mentioned taking 301 to 234?

I'm looking for a quick direct route with the least amount of complicated turns due to the fact that I'll be towing.

FWIW i have traveled the 270 on many occasion and that's a good peice of hiway, could take that and go down around the beltway, see the attractions... :eek:

Todd, I would think your most direct route would be to take 695 to 95 south down to the 495/95S beltway (head towards richmond), take exit 7b (Rt 5 south), stay on rt 5 south which turns into 301 south, left onto Rt 234, MIR is on the left about 10 miles down the road right after the circle/dirt bike track.

Not sure how long it will take you in total, but from my experience it should take you a little more than 1 hr once you hit Rt 5 south depending on traffic of course.
