Does anyone know if the 67 steering column will bolt up to a 66 without modifications? Are there any major differences aside from the collapsable shaft on the 67?

No, it won't bolt up. Due to federally mandated safety regulations, 67 column was totally redesigned and won't bolt up even with modifications bordering on "butchery."
