Hey All,
I have a small block in my 69. It has an oil pan that looks like a Moroso 7qt with the kick outs except that the drain plug is on the pass side front of the pan. I took out 5 qts and put back 5 qts. The dip stick shows it is way over full. How would I know if it was a 5, 6 or 7 quart pan? :confused:The old owner said it was a Moroso 7 qt when I got the car. I will mark the dip stick when I know it is where it should be.

prob the best way is to measure the sump, then look in jegs or summit book for one that looks like it, and find one with the same sump meas
usually the dipsticks are off on aftermarket pans. you have to mark the stick

Hey FORCD IND,
Thanks for the tip[ I can't believe that I didn't think of that:clonk::rolleyes:. I did take the measurements and e-mailed Moroso for their help. I do have a 7 qt pan and I'll mark the stick now.:disco:

Thanks again,

Marc :beers:
