I've been given an offer to buy an Old Texaco Gas Pump. Uncertain of Age, or if Globe is original, but the Pump appears to be. Has Nozzle and hose attached.

Any ideas on value?

He told me re-pops sell for $1000. He quoted me $1200, so I guess that's a deal.

How can I ensure it's not a re-pop (although I doubt it) and he assured me it's original. (Co-worker)

the one on the right is a Tokeim it dates to the 50's as a general rule 5 ft tall one are from the 50's 6 footers are from the 30's & 40's 1200 is a good price. look inside if its a real one you will probably be able to see where the pump mechanisims were. re-pops probaly don't have that. the one on the left may be a Bennet brand of pump. again good price. they make re-pop stuff for pumps just like they do muscle cars.
