Took the ZR1 out to Fontana the other day...after a 100 mile drive they were sold out of tech cards....No dice. Same for a freind who they already admitted, he already changed radials in teh lanes. What a crock!! :o

Anyway made the best of it and went to a remote location, thought you guys might like it

Sorry to hear of that non-sense at the track. You'd think they'd copy the cards enough to make some extras. It wouldn't be a perfect copy but the cards only need you signing it to be legit and offical. They should have had a back up stack either way.:yes:

Whats up, Chief? Early srping at Famoso is a go if youre up to it. What they should do is make it so you can reserve your card online so theres no confusion .Long drive for nothing. many guys that went there waited 5 hours for 1 run.

Great vid. Whats the blue light on the dash? Is that a shift light? It doesnt sound like its really reving that high when the light comes on.
The first Vid would be better without the music, so you could hear the engine better. JMO.

Thats a freinds 85... Its a TPI so the shift light is probably somewhere in the mid-high4k range somewhere. His tach is having issues so who knows when its really coming on. did hear it hit about 7k (for about a split second) on the freeway while on our way to Famoso to race with Chieffatnuts last yr. Rolling along at 80 he dropped it into 2nd instead of 4th. :clonk: Still runs 13.7 with it being stock -mufflers. I agree the music is a bit loud but it was his first attempt at editing. We'll take more, trust me.

I had planned on selling the Z and wanted to get a last vid of it. Being as nobody wants the thing (God forbid you drive them and rack up the miles) I guess she stays and Ill be doing a smog legit 450rwhp build towards the end of next yr on it myself.

Now that its been running for a month or two I wanna get the 67 back together and get some vids of that one, its been sitting way to long. . THey each have thier place I guess. I know the vid isnt an Abody but its all I have that runs right now. :D

It's not they ran out of cards. But they limit the car entries, so that's what he probably meant.

Good vids Ron. Was waiting for those rear tires to throw up some smoke at some point. I need to see that ZR! in person, looks pretty nice from what I can see in the vid.

Here, its updated, cut out the music in the tunnel so you can hear whats going on and added a little more footage. If I had realized he was taping as much as he did i would have made it a little more entertaining.
