They should do fine, imho. BUT you need to watch your FINAL compression ratio!!!!! May have to run a thick headgasket and flat-tops????

Run your combination through the ROSS Racing Pistons Compression ratio calculator to MAKE SURE!!!!

My set cc'ed at 160+ intake ports and 55 cc chambers. Plus they have 1.84"/1.50" valves AND hardened seats.

If you want, install 1.94"/1.60" valves to soup them up some.. And do a bowl and dingle-berry clean up.....

I am going to run 1.6 ratio rockers so bought a "Louis/Slotting" Tool to lengthen the pushrod slots so I don't have to machine them for guide plates b/c I'm CHEA, er, eh -- FRUGAL!!!

thanks, i was figuring in my compression ratio with a .015'' head gasket using 58ccs for the chambers on Pat Kelley's DCR calculator. for right now i want to throw them on as is with new springs just to get my truck runing again. i figure these heads will be better than the 76cc smog heads i had on my previous 350 (ripped off a piston skirt/2 BIG holes in the block and cylinder wall gone on #3).
thanks,
chris
