i went to the drag strip on thursday and broke the governor in the transmission for the 6th time. we have no clue what can be the cause of this. also on the way home it had a bad vibration and i looked and the transmission case is broken almost in half at the bellhousing. it has a solid motor mount on the driver side a rubber on the passenger and rubber transmission mount. it has been breaking governors prior to the motor mount change. so im thinking the case breakage may be because of the motor mount being solid. any suggestions driveshaft issue? bent output shaft? any ideas? im sick of pulling this transmission out! here are some pics to clarify
