I am going to install the brake lines on my 71 nova drag car. 4w disc brakes.
I am running skinnies up front with a BBC iron heads.
from the proportioning valve, should the car be set up like a normal street car? 70% up front 30% out back? (standard set up following the instructions)
I read on a nova board that they should be swapped. 30% to the front and 70% to the back.
do to the size of the tire. is this true?

I've got a valve in the front brake line on mine but it's wide open, I haven't had any problems with rear lockups and it stops very good. 3500lb car, Aerospace discs on the front, wilwood/GM Metric small calipers on the rear.

I think in general on a drag car with big tires on the back and skinny's on the front it's going to like more rear brake than a street car with bigger front tires and less rear weight.
