I am running a carter electric fuel pump with stock lines that flows 72 gph free flow. Is this enough for a small block running apromixiatly 400 hp. I am having troulble getting the car over 100 mph in the 1/4 mile. My times have been 13.2 (best) to 13.4. Just wondering if I am running out of gas on the top end.

400 hp will require about 200 lbs of fuel per hour. At 6.5#/gal, this equates to about 30 gph. A 72 gph pump will easily supply enough fuel if it is plumbed properly.
