Planning on building a 496,most of the stroker kits come with bushed rods, how advisable is to run this set up on the street? My concerns come about because the motor will spend most of its life in the idle to 4000 rpm range being a street motor,is the oil supply enough at this rpms to keep the pins lubricated?

I put full floaters in my BBC 16 years ago and it is still running. Stock GM rods, 1" pins in Arias forged pistons.

Lube shouldn't be a problem. Just be SURE that the retainers are seated good. This is the #1 failure with floating pins. It gets ugly when one escapes and tries to get between the piston and cylinder wall.

Ditto what Jim and d1_bradley said, I'm running 'em in a street blower motor, no worries here.
