Anyone build one or know if they work good ?

Its a 400 sb with 4.00" stroke and 6" rods.
Does the block need some machining to work properly ?

So far I have a bare block that is .030 over.
I have no internals so theres no limit to them.
I plan to use my 200cc iron eagles.
I'd like a Torque monster.

Might go for a Roller Cam if it becomes a long term build up.

If all is good with the 433. What could I rev it too with say a Steel Crank and rods vs Forged vs Casted parts. when reving what parts count the crank or the rods ? or both.

I'm not looking for an ET really just a SB powerhouse that runs hard on the track a few times a summer.

Can't think or anything else I wanted to mention...Thanx in andvance guys--- Lance

maybe a 420 is a better idea just read about all the clearancing required for a 433 vs 420.
