anyone seen one in person or have a good pic other than the websites? Im looking at these dashes for my Nova cause im going to do my intirior this winter and i think they look like a nice piece and would get the gauges out of the awkward spot underneath my dash. Anyone?

Also im looking for a newer set of front buckets for the nova this winter. Anyone have any good suggestions? I want black cloth, cause vynel and leather just get too damn hot with no AC or vent windows. Any pics would be cool....thanks

My experience with the Covan dash was in my '67 Camaro. I had it for about a month before removing it and selling it. It really depends on what you are looking for overall. It is certainly not comparable to say the DSE piece - you do get what you pay for. It is an economical alternative to hand built dash but it was just not for me.

Well with the covans dash i was also going to get a blank and put a 5" speedometer in the middle and have 4-2 5/8" gauges on the outer part. How did you cut? Hole saw and a good drill? What exactly did you not like about it? I'll probably get there standard black dash, not the carbon fiber.

I also started with the blank and placed the gauges where I wanted them. I used an autometer gauge pod as a guide, traced the holes out on the back, and cut through with an exacto knife. These are not made out of thick or hard plastic - they are very soft. If I was going to do it again, I would consider using a thin aluminum plate on the back to keep the dash from sagging under the weight of the gauges.

I had a couple of issues with the dash but at the end of the day, I just found that it did not really "fit" with the interior.
