HI,
Just went down the 1/4 mile for the first time, and was slightly disappointed. I was running out of fuel just after the 1/8 mile mark, anyone have a suggestion as to an easy fix. I have a blue holley pump 3/8 line, regulator that comes with it. I plan on updating the fuel system next year,I was wondering if there's any adjustments I can make, float levels were as high as I can get them. best run 11.80 at 113, 60 ft 1.85, no traction either, but thats another prob.

Could be the sock on the pickup line in the tank. Maybe a dirty filter. Do you have a pressure gauge?

I would vote for the sock on the pickup line in the tank, when going to a good fuel pump it can't handle the volume of fuel, and it will roll up cutting off the fuel.

How did you determine you were running out of Fuel?

The only time I have ever felt a performance loss was when the pressure went to zero and the motor felt like it stalled.

The car started to lean pop up on top, I do not have a fuel gauge outside yet, doing that this week.

how does a car act if it is jetted to lean?
especially on top of the 1/4 mile?

what is the carb your running and current jetting?
I would go up 2 sizes on the secondary jetting and try it

UDHarold says to run a 1/2 inch fuel line with his cams. Fuel line too small?
