Sorry to hear that... Thieves are the lowlife scum of the earth. Good thing it wasnt the whole car. Perhaps you should get an alarm or cover your subs and amp? Were you parked on the street?

My friend woke up one night and saw a guy reaching in the window of his car after he broke it. He yelled out the window and the guy ran off. This was in Redmond, a pretty safe place.

Hey Mattie sorry to hear about you getting ripped off.
I've had a couple of systems ripped off over the years, once just my deck (they missed my Prec. Power amp and subs behind the seat in my standard cab Toyota 4x4), the other time they took everything but the door speakers.

Made me crazy not knowing who to go after.:mad:

One thing I started doing was turning my tunes down a couple blocks away from home and not cranking them up until I was a block or two away in case it was the local hooligans and not wandering vagabonds.(No disrespect to any wandering vagabonds that are reading this forum).:p

Hopefully your insurance gets you hooked up soon. I didn't have original reciepts so my insurance company had me give them copies of the receipts of the replacement system I bought and wrote me a check for the amount.:thumbsup:
That works nicely if you have the cash to buy the equipment prior to being reimbursed.

This same thing happened to me about 10 years ago and I still keep an eye out for some of the stuff. I have never been more angry in my life, this is also when I descovered that the insurance companys are the scum of the earth!

ya, this is my second break in, im never going to buy another stereo system again for my daily driver, this sucks, they took my 10" rockford subs in obcon sealed box, jl audio 500/1 amp, and kenwood deck. ya brett it was on the street by my condo in the same place i've parked it for the last year and a half with no problems. i always thought edmonds was a safe place

Matthew- That does suck. Sorry man. It happened to me a few years back and I think I was more pissed because there wasn't someone getting there head bashed in. Things can get fixed and replaced but knowing there is a scum bag still running around our neiborhoods bites.

ya I think i know who may have done it, but what can you really do? I wish I could have cought them doing! it makes me sick knowing some grease ball was crawling around inside my truck stealing my stuff.
