The engine is a .060 over 350, it has 11.6 to 1 compression. Solid cam of 240/250 dur. and .520 lift. Ported 461s, edl. vic, jr and a 850 4150. Car is a 80 camaro 4.56 gears and a 3000 stahl conv.
The question is what heads and what cam i want to get. I am running 12.3 at 111 now, I want mid 11 next year.
I am leaning towards Afr heads some thing around 200 cc with the largest valve I can get. Is there some thing else on the market that I should look at?
The cam, I will be going solid again but larger. Something around 255 at 50, 105-106 LCA? Every one talks about UD cams hear, whats up with these.
I want to shift at 7000, and the car is more of a race car, so what do you guys think? mid 11s ?

With your present setup you should be running mid-11's already. 111 in the quarter should get you in the 11.70's with good traction and a properly tuned setup. Before I put much more money in parts I would line up the ones I have.

The 3000 stall ( Stahl's first name is Jere ) converter should be replaced with something in the 4500+ range. The 240-250 cam should be more than adequate, as 111 mph with 4.56's and 28" tires has you at 6700 in the lights.

Ok, the 60 ft. is in the 1.80s I have to look for some slips. i also was thinking a bout do the converter swap. But I couldn't find anything less than 500 at the time. The car is put away now, for winter I still would like to do the upgrades, if you guys think it is worth my while.
Thanks
