I live in santa barbara CA and it rarely gets hotter that 80, Im goijng to be moving to sacramento and am wondering how much hotter will my car want to run? it runs at or below 180 now.

If your cooling system is in good condition, you will notice no difference. Cooling works because the air going thru the radiator is a lot cooler than the water in the radiator. So if you change from 80 degree air to 100 degree air and the coolant (water) is at 200 degrees, the delta is going to change from 120 degrees to 100 degrees which is not a big problem.
