My Chevelle didn't have the parking cable clips on it (the ones that secure the cable to the car to put tension on the cable) so I ordered some from Ground Up.

Since I had no reference really to go off of I had to "guess" where I thought they'd go.

I installed both on the first floor brace closest to transmission.

I inserted the larger end of the hook into the floor brace, the smaller on the cable.

On the pass side I utilized the smallest hole closest to the trans.

On the driver side I utilized the larger hole closest to the frame.

So far the parking brake seems to work, I'm just wondering if I did this right, or will it only work now and then possibly fall off later? (hope not)

Thanks!

That sounds right to me...

However, it can work a number of ways. As long as you have good tension, it isnt going to go anywhere. I think you will be fine! Make sure it isnt rubbing too hard on the exhaust and driveshaft. I ended up running one line under an exhaust tube, the other on top. A good place to see pics of this stuff is to go onto Ebay, look at a show car that has taken pics of it on a lift and you can see how it is routed.
