OK.....I tried this in the Tech forum but gonna post it where the electrical experts live.
I hooked up my CI assy (vaccum outterdoor only and I think I am not going to hook up the inner door). Now I am installing new wiring harness as my kickdown switch for my TH400 is not working and the old/original wiring was "screwed" with back in the day (and was not for the CI hood as i just installed it).
I have a new kickdown switch installed. I have plugged in the tan wire (acc) and pink wire (ign) [Photo A]

I hooked the other two wires to the kickdown switch (was told it did not matter which one went where)[Photo B].

Now I have 3 plugs left [Photo C]. I have a T shapped plug with a single one plug on a 3-4" wire beside it. The T shapped plug branches off with a long single wire w/plastic plug (i'm guessing that goes to the inner door solenoid). I plugged the T shapped plug into the same harness that the orginal one was plugged into but I can not figure out where the single black one goes to. The Assy Manual has it and the T-shapped one plugged into the Relay Assy but I though i only need it if I used the inner CI door.

Now the orginal harness that the T-shapped plug attached to goes down toward the transmission and brances of into 2 plugs. One is a single plug[Photo D] that was not orginally hooked to any thing and the other is a T shapped plug and plugs into the driver's side of the transmission [Photo E]

I tried activating the kickdown switch by hand but heard no clicking sound with the key on or off. I was told this would verify power to the switch and the kickdown at the transmission was working.
Here is a pic of the original wiring that was hooked to the Kickdown switch (but had no connections to the fuse box for power)

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I know there is something I am not doing right but the assy manual is really not a big help.
