just picked up a 68 chevelle been in storage since 83 will 69 dash and interior parts swap out? my understanding is they are the same interior wise also where else do i learn about thiscar and my options? thanks

RT Oct 22nd, 07, 9:35 PM The dash is different-guages more squared off than 69. The steering wheel is different as is the column, ign. sw. in dash instead of in column. The door panels are different since the 68 has vent windows and the 69 does not. Seats would be the same basically, except no headrests. What parts do you need? Rich red68chevL Oct 22nd, 07, 11:15 PM Rich is right. but the 69 plastic dash will fit in the 68 dash. You will have to change steering column and the wiring harness.
