I heard that 65 chevelle fenders will not fit my 65 el camino is that true?What about wagon fenders?

All 65 chevelle, malibu, malibu ss, el camino, wagon, etc... (body style 13***5) fenders are the same, with the exception of holes for moldings and emblems, which depend on model and engine. This is one of the few sheet metal things that's in the assembly manual. --- Carl

My 64 ElCamino has Chevelle fenders, hood and all front sheetmetal parts - the fenders had extra holes for chevelle moldings

In 1970 chevrolet changed the fenders. The El Caminos and cars were no longer interchangable they El had more of a tire bulge for some reason.
