My thoughts exactly. I prefer heavy metal and 80's rock. Some of the Bluegrass is prety cool, though. Anyone's who's seen "OH Brother How Art Though" will agree.

Van Halen here for favorite, but also love Black Sabbath, Styx, Scorpions, Def Leppard, and many many others.

Its on your TV....layed over commercials for Chevy, Ford, Dodge, Levis, Starbucks, mortgage companies, etc.

I dont even know why its on the radio any more. Stones, BTO, Skynrd, etc over and over and over again...its like the friggin movie groundhog day. Sure, I still appreciate the bands for what they are and such but good god....how many times can you listen to freebird and still wanna dance or groove or bob your head or whatever.....I lost it after the 10,139th time I think. Same with every other band in the arena.

I don't know what to say as I set here listening to a tape of songs my band covered in high school. I am now listening to our cover of "Little Black Egg" by the Night Crawlers!:thumbsup:

TV has me dispising all these "rock and roll" bands and carshows have me to the point where I want to travel back in time and sabotage the big bopper, buddy holly, etc.

I like ice cream but if I was forced to eat it all the time i'd find a way to snuff Ben & Jerry. ;)

In the car listening to it on the radio then go inside and the same damn music is on the TV, then you go to the supermarket and the instrumental is playing, then you go into an elevator, more of the same damn song in instrumental form, back to your car and its there again, someones cell rings and its there again, walk past a tv store and the commercials playing the same damn music....
