just in the process of restoring a 69 chevelle w/350. during the wiring it became unclear to me if the gegulator had rubber bushings so it wouldn't ground to the radiator support or not. I see on ebay where you can buy a rubber mounting set then there are bolt sets for the regulator. what is the proper installation?

i don't think the 69 takes the rubber bushings

Thanks, I don't think I remember seeing any but there are parts everywhere and has been since 2001. Almost there now and it is looking good

The regulator needs to be grounded, seperate grd strap if you have the rubber pads. I think the rubber pads are for vibration, wear, not insulation.
