if it is a real documented L89 car, its a 100k car

Wayne, I think we need a little more information here.

- Since it does not have the original motor, is there documentation to support the L89?
- What is the condition of the various parts of the car?
- Are tranny & rear end original to the car?
- Is the tranny a TH or Muncie?
- Is it a Rally Sport?
- If it is a Norwood built car (other than very early production), what is the "X" code on the Trim tag?
- Any options such as chambered exhaust, console, gauges, rosewood wheel, etc?

The colours are sure right.

Could be worth anywhere from $25K to about $200K

Sounds like a gem Wayne. Here's what I'm thinking based on original documentation being available:

- If it needs a restoration $75-90K.
- If the car is a #2+ or better $110-125K.
- With the original engine add $25K to the above figures.

For example - if this was, or got restored to, a #1 car (EG - never driven, museum quality) then the value could easily be pushing $200K.

This is really just my opinion as you do not see an L89 Camaro come up for sale very often. Hopefully you will get some other opinions as well. Good luck.
