See Edit- new info pls help....I have a 70SS I am trying to sell. I've had it 20+ yrs but need to verify motor. The engine is a 402 or 396 it has been decked so I have no #'s in front. Partial #'s for rear drivers side due to bad casting : Here is what I have....88323 ? There is also a sideways "T" next to the #'s. On the middle of motor is GM3 COMV2, on psgr side : J/07. Need info ASAP. Thank you....Stevejt:hurray:

20 years and you don't know what engine is in it, do you know what size engine?

Here's the site that will answer your questions.

http://www.mortec.com/

You really have to study those numbers because they can be tough to read or look like something else. (an 8 could be a 3 or something like that) I looked quick for your castng number and didn't see anything close.

Pull a head and know for sure what size it is!!

People have been sold 267's for 350's so go from there!!

And they have the SAME stroke!!!!!
