i did a search but didn't get answer..
when I turn the key to the on position the gen light is bright, once the car is started the gen light is very dimm. does anyone have a idea of how to fix this? oh i forgot to mention my volts are 12 with key in on position. when i start the car it jumps up to 15.

Externally regulated system? Regulator is bad.
