WELL ,I installed the new CC XS282-S and is been raining since but took it for a short ride and this cam it doing an excellent street jop with a 3000 converter ,but there has been made a lot if changes in the car ,cam ,heads ,converter ,ignition fix ,crane gold roller rockers .

Now only waiting for a little sun to take it to the track and see if any best e/t come with all this changes ,looking for low 12's -12.6 -12.3 ,to start from there

What were your previous bests?

I went to the track 2 times with problems never made a full pass with out engine problem and had a 14.6 in the first and 14.3 in the other day a went .I verifythe gas line and in was in bad shape and change it to the motor was dropping at high rpms ,I put M/T sportmams PRO NOW ,I really ,really hope 13s ,BUT NEVER is bad to think a more lower e/t ;)
NOW with the new heads the carb need more jets it bogs before opening the full throttle ,maybe today I can fix that and go in a 1 1/2 hour trip to the track .
I even got lower temp now ,A bigger cam ,bigger heads = More air in and out and can cause this lower temperatures ????

When does that cam start pulling really hard? what gear's are you runnin? :rolleyes:

I have not got the chance to do any test in the street not even where no tracfic (safe) because of the rain ,But I will go to the track after some jetting in the primari jets and let everyone know ,thaks for the interres
I got a 3.90 ,but my tires are M/T 31 X 16.5 PRO
THEY WERE M/T 31x18.5 I trade them looking for some better 60ft. and this is another change ,I got a set of 28x 10.5 new et drag tires but got no rims my rinm are 12" but I will go to a friend house and ask him for his racing wheels with or without the tires I will let him use my new one first if he donot want to take them out if the rims .this is what drag racing is all about,this was not made to race in the first place but I make a 1320 pass and I never will go back ,wait for shows or freinds to make a suday cruise ,not any more ...now 1320 plus the trip with family .
