A pair of 165R-15 will work.

I think in car craft mag they listed some readers rides and most were running the size tire you listed on reply. With manual steering would like to go to 27 or 28 tall tire. How is the side wall on the 165R? will it hold the weight of a BB and a narrow rim? Thanks for the advise.Marietta Ga cool place my friend lived on Grover st by a machine shop there. He moved to Cartersville GA.Dave.

Tom, I've logged over 5000 miles in the last 4.5 years since I've had it back on the road,no problems whatsoever with tires/wheels. 5000 isnt many miles, but they've endured a 150 mile cruise one way to the lake of the ozarks to meet the chevelle clubs of KC and St.Louis and regular short jaunts to,thru and around town. I don't think that I'd take off for Nashville and chevellabration with them, but for what I do,they work fine.

I'm running the 165/R15s as well. Seems to hold up fine with my 496. The only problem I've had is that the tires are rated for 38# max pressure and it takes about 40# for the tire to "look" right.

Hey fellow BB guys, what are you running them at?

Thanks Bob,

Wondering what some skinnies might do to help my ET may borrow some and do a comparison on a track rental.
