Whats your favorite 1968 Chevelle color?

I have never in my life seen a 1968 Burnished Brown or Verdoro Green SS Chevelle. Anyone else ever seen one?

teal blue....only bc my dad ordered the color when he bought his 68 new. Saw pics of it and its different and a rare one year only color

I'm still gonna paint mine black, but my heart stopped when I saw a 69 in a four stage candy pearl purple. WOW! If it wasn't gonna cost 2 grand for materials, I may have changed my mind.

I am at the point with one of my '68's where I need to pick a color. The car is nothing special so I am open to anything. It was originally Ash Gold. Is that a desirable color?

Ash Gold is a nice color its my favorite i think its desirable:thumbsup: thats what i have on my 68 300 DeLuxe

Got it, Ryan. I think ash gold is my fav because it is unique now. Most were repainted red or whatever, now making our color unusual. I don't know the number of how many were painted ash gold, but there were a bunch. Now pretty rare. Gotta add that color to the poll, though.

I didn't vote . My color is not on your list. Sequoia Green. The only reason its my favorite is because its the original color of my 68 SS.

looks like Ash Gold:disco: and Tuxedo Black are in the lead :thumbsup:

Butternut Yellow is in my part two of this thread somewhere in the body shop section

Grecian Green, had 2 this color, and Ash Gold, got a Caprice this color right now!

i really like the butternut yellow with black lower section and black interior. my '68 came white with black top/ interior (conv) and i chose butternut to go back on. the ash gold is nice too. i kind of like the era correct colors on the car, if not year correct. the candy colors and bright reds, yellows, etc... don't look good on muscle cars IMO. maybe on an all out custom those colors are fine.

i guess nobody really cares for the Grecian Green:( thats the original color to the 68 Chevelle SS396 that i just bought and am going to clone to an SS427 Baldwin Motion car with a 427 435h.p

I like Ash Gold. I had a '68SS in the early '80's that was originally that color. I put it back Ash Gold because it was unique and original. I like it.

gotta go grotto blue black interior to many red and maroon in my neck of woods. in paint shop as we speak

I'm in agreement w/ you, Butternut Yellow.Never thought I would but since I came across a great deal,I couldn't pass it up and the color grew on me.(#'s matching)code YY,(w/black SS stripes),Ivy gold- code 779 interior.(see pics on link)
