well i finnally got the 4 inch cowl bolt on hood installed but i noticed it seemed a tad short from front to rear not bad just a hair?
I do like the look though and just need to get it painted now!!

I have a Glasstek hood on my 70 chevelle also. It fits poorly. Cannot line up the body lines in the front of the hood around the head light buckets and not hit the sides of the hood on the fenders. Mine also is raised up on the sides along the fender gap. Not very happy with this hood. Had a Glasstek 4 inch cowl hood on my old 69 Nova and it fit MUCH better. Kinda wish glasstek made a better hood for the chevelle body.

It looks like it doesnt fit well. Thats weird for a glasstek hood to fit poorly. Ive always heard good things about glasstek. I have a harwood 6 inch and it fits great. Just had to trim the back of the cowl where it fits against the glass. My brother has a glasstek 8 inch on his 78 chevy pickup and that too fits excellent.

Mine is the same. It is a bit short at the front and one side bows up in the middle above the fender line. :(

I've had mine since '98 and it fits that same as all of yours......so they must not be getting any better at them??

BTW:
Your Velle needs a different set of wheels now to match that hood. Like the color though:D

the wheels are new custom 15x10`s in the rear with 295/50`s and 15x8`s up front with 235 60`s thats what i like about them they dont look real racey but they hook great! it tends to suprize people when it tries to lift the front tires!!
