I'm trying to find either off the shelf, or custom made, springs.
Single pig tail, 5.5" OD, 12" long, with a very high spring rate. I've been checking circle track suppliers and 300lbs is the stiffest I've found so far. I'll need something more like 450-500
This is for my 'vair. With the BB olds/turbo 425 tranny it has 2200lbs on the rear. I've been holding it up with the stock springs with airbags. Problem is I have to over inflate the bags to get the ride height and I just popped another one.
The stock springs look just like the springs on my '65 Chevelle, and I know I saw some "HD" springs once that "raised the back over 2". If i can find something like that maybe it'll work with the bags with a more normal PSI.
