65 Malibu SS with 454. 4 speed. Looking around for a good set of headers. Who has this combo on a 65? What headers did you use and how do they fit?

I have heard the Headman 1 3/4 primaries with 3 collectors are good choice.

I tried the search and couldnt find any real specific info on a 65. Lots for the other years.

Had a set of rusted Hedmans on my 396/65. They fit fine. Replaced with a set of Hooker 2 inch. They fit fine on passenger side. Drivers side needed a dimple for the steering column and cut off lower control arm bolt with a torch. Might have been able to loosen column and slide it 1/4 inch or so to get clearance. They are fine and I have a 4 sp.

Hookers 2" pri to 3.5" collector worked fine on my old 502.
