mmurphy77 Oct 15th, 07, 10:08 PM Looks great Mac! Now you got hood pins too. I'm assuming you prefer the look of the Rally wheels over the 5-spokes?

Yeah, I got the 5 spokes in my garage but they just don't look right to me on a chevelle. I love the rally wheels and figured why not!!!

The car was repainted (factory cranberry red) in 1981 by the previous owner so this is still the same paint from then. As you can tell, it was a garage/warehouse kept car since then. I did have to have the hood painted and my body/paint guy matched it beautifully.

Thanks. I am very proud of it although it was pretty much in the condition you see it now! i only had to have minor things done. I am now in the process of restoring/cloning a 1973 Mustang () into a Mach 1. I may then try another Chevelle in the 1968 or 1969 after the Stang. Damn....this car bug has really bit me hard!!!!

Rmchevelle Oct 19th, 07, 1:47 PM Nice Chevelle. Can I ask what part of Florida you're in? Nice looking neighborhood, different from the other Florida pics I've seen, more rural.

Tallahassee (South Georgia!!!). Anything north of Ocala is still pretty rural except the big cities such as Jacksonsville, etc... I hate South Florida as it is way over populated and no more the nice "southern" and conservative feel that we have up here in the northern part of the state. From where I moved from and grew up (back woods), I now lived in a metropolis!!! :D

Timmer Oct 19th, 07, 6:34 PM Mac - There is something wrong with your flapper no tire marks on that nice clean driveway --tim--
