In trying to attach the lower sterring cover i cain't seem to figger out where it attach's .
does this need a bracket that I may have lost .I thought it screwed to the bottom of the dash ,but cain't seem to make it work.

You should have "Clips" that attach to both sides of the dash carrier that the Steering Column cover screws into.

Thanks ,I suppose they got lost when we had the dash out .I have been trying to find a picture but haven't found one yet

Can you buy these clips any where?

I looked at www.ss396.com (http://www.ss396.com) and ebay yesterday after I posted yesterday
and couldn't find any.

I don't know if a good hardware store would have anything if you brought the screw in.

Got them and thank you for sending them ,How ever they won't work I need to send them back to u I will get that done today.It seems the ones that I need r a L shape that mount on the bolts that holds the colume up.I have made some calls but haven't located them yet.Talked to a guy in texas and he told me most 67 chevelle's didn't have the cover on .Any one know about this?

Must have been my mistake, This is how they attach on a 70, I guess I assumed 67 was the same. Amazed they wont clip onto the dash carrier, then the cover screw to them.

Don't worry about sending them back, no Biggie.

It looks like it takes a l bracket that will mount to the steering colume bracket when u hold it up there I can make something but had rather have the real one's.

There's a couple of 67 Guru's on here that will tell you exactly what you need and likely where to get it.

Dale Mcintosh and Mike Crown should be able to help you out.
