I have a 1967 El Camino I'm trying to restore. I want to keep the seat in it a bench and I don't know if mine is original for 1967. Did they have headrests in 67? I've never seen one. Here are some pictures of my bench seat.

Is this the original seat?

Brent-----That is an Elky bumper you have, and the guy did you a favor----tese things are pricey----heard one just went for over 800 on Evil-bay.

Headrests were an option in 66--------(far as my factory manual goes)
My 66 was equipped with a 67 bench from the factory, with headrests (took it out--not gonna use it)
A 66 seat will not have a seatback lock----67 will.
My 66 is a very late car (within 2000 units out of Fremont)
Came from the factory with
67 Dash and 67 Malibu woodgrained upper dash insert.
67 SS/Malibu 3 spoke steering wheel
67 knobs (lights, etc.) ignition switch bezel
66 Steering column
66 instruments and lower dash trim
