Does anyone know if the chrome knob on the adjustment lever on the console clock pulls off? I have the mechanism out and cleaned,but can't get the lens off to clean.A little scared to pull to hard! I tried a search came up empty....Thanks Steve

Not sure, but I think they are held on with a teeny-tiny screw.
Might need a magnifying glass (over 40 close eyesight sucks) and jewlers screwdriver.

Thanks Bryan, Eyesight also a problem at 55. I'll try 2 magnifying glasses and I'll check it out. I'll post my results.

Man I looked and no screws I could see. Got the clock running and the shaft freed up and adjusting ok, Just can't get it off to clean it up the lens. Oh well just keep trying till it breaks:noway:.

Darn thing unscrews ccw. Must have loctite on it to keep it spinning off.only took half a Sat. to complete. Oh well!
