I am finally getting around to installing and wiring up the repro clock for my repro center console

I am new to re-wiring, but I am guessing I need to connect 3 wires; ground, constant 12v for the clock to work 24/7, and switchable 12v for the light when the other lights are on, correct? (i tested the clock and at least it and the light works so far)

The clock did not come with a wiring diagram, what would you suggest as the best choices of where to connect these three wires to under the dash or fuse box? - what amp fuse?

Thanks again guys

Easiest way is ground the clock to one of the console mounting screws, run an orange wire for constant 12v+ and a grey wire for the back light (but any colors will do) direct to the spare "BATT" and "LAMPS" contacts in the fusebox (maybe labled differently, but they are there) use a test light if not sure.

Correct. The lamps terminal is only hot when the parking/headlamps are on. Wire your clock lamp there.
