Hey guys, The freeze plug kit, im putting in some of it now. The freeze plug for the cam, my neighbor said he thought it went in oposite direction than the other ones. Dish side facing in, if that makes sence.

Just looked at the stock 454 in my garage, that plug goes in the exact same way the rest of them go in. At least, if GM did it right, lol.

Think your neighbor must've not been fully awake, lol.

No, they go in like the others. Tell your neighbor to look at page #111 of that book you have; "How to rebuild Your BBC". Put sealant on it, dish side out, drive it in with a socket large enough to just fit inside the cup, then finish it up with someting larger and flat so you drive it in flush with the outside of the block. Do not drive it in past flush.

Phil, DON'T USE stainless oil galley plugs. Don't know what you have/did, but I used a set from Pioneer. Leak city. Bad news. Just FYI.
