I'm putting a Q-jet on a GM intake. I was very close to completing the 2-bbl swap until I was trying to screw in the carb studs. The Q-jet came off of a Caddy manifold, and I thought surely the bolts were same size (thought they would just be standard all-around). However, the bolts were not the right size for the threads and I ended up bottoming out and breaking a bolt (got it out though). Was wondering if anyone knew what the size of bolts for the carbs on a Q-jet Chevy intakes are, would be easier to just buy those than tap new threads etc...thanks for your help.

if you got bolts stuck/broke in the threads you might have to rethread them anyway.i'd figure they would be the same to.
