I am in need of a new rear seat frame for my 68 chevelle concours. Is there any difference between other chevelles made that year. And what year chevelle rear seats will fit my 68. Also who knows where to get one in good shape.

Should be the same as long as you don't use a convertible rear seat or a 4 door rear seat, those might be different sizes. All you really need is a frame, so check ebay or the classifieds here! ( I was assuming you have a 2 door car? )

I have a 68 I built for a guy, it has Buick interior. The seat frames are the same as Chevy and BOP. I used Pontiac frames, Chevy foam, and Buick covers to convert it to buckets.

The 1968 2dr Ht Concours Seat Frames Are The Exact Same As The Convertible, Due To The Deluxe (full) Arm Rests. The Bop Rear Seats Can Be Used As Long As They Come From The Shorter Deluxe Interior.

Pics of Concours rear seat (also the same for Buick interiors in Chevelles) and standard rear seat.

Karl, would you mind telling us the interior code for your car? It's on the trim tag under the hood on the driver's side, the number after "TR". I'd like to know if the Concours interior is coded the same as a Buick-style interior on other Chevelles.
Thanks for the help:thumbsup:

Bill, is this a Concours?? Looks like an Oldsmobile rear panel and a Buick front door panel in picture #1.
