should support 700+ hp just by cfm alone, but theres more to if then just flow#s.

Yeah when I got them back they were a work of art!! Looked like they had been cnc'd

Just looking to change valvetrain setups, want to get to 700-725 n/a hp.

compression and cam will be big determining factors to what kind of power it makes.

Are the times you have here before the head work? How heavy is the car with you in it? How much compression do you have? What kind and size converter? Should be about 720 H.P. capable with good compression.

Yes. These times are after the headwork. This started life as a zz502, just changed cams-
and springs.
Sent the heads to mike and had them race ported, changed to beehives-titanium retainers-
4 angle valve job etc. Compression is a lowly 9.1, would like to up the compression to 11.1
go with a solid roller & re-ring the motor. The flow numbers are almost exact to brodix race rites with the cnc chamber option, and I know guys on here are going much faster than i am
only with a larger cam, (and with cars that actually work suspension wise) I just put a 4500 tci 8" extreme duty converter in and absolutely no change. I am determined to get the chassis sorted out.

Any idea on what type of compression and camshaft?

I am using a pair of edelbrock performer's #6048's on my big block (500 inch). I chose these because of the chamber (100 cc), which, after the chambers were swept and some minor work endede up at 107cc. After porting they ended up at 349 cfm @ .650 lift and 280 on the exhaust at the same lift. These heads are very similar to each other. I am using a JE piston and ended up with 11.25 compression. I did not see which intake you are using but for what it's worth I am using a Dart Oval port which requires extensive work to make it useable. Hey, in this business what is money for anyway? I think your engine can make in the 740 h.p. range with the correct cam and induction.

Gary, these are the 290cc, 110 chamber GMPP?eddy heads right?

If I remember right, these heads stock flow about 300 cfrm at .600, and not much after that. Looks like you have a big increase. Are you keeping the ZZ502 intake? IMO, that intake fits those heads the best.

Mind if I ask how much $$$$ to do that?

Vince,
These are those heads correct..........will send you a pm about $$$ into the heads.

280 on the exhaust at that lift is very very good, that rivals the afr 305 as cast head........I wish mine flowed that well.
